I did try to sort things out directly with the third party but they wanted to go through insurers. A coach company isn't going to want to do things on the side and as there was no damage to their coach they didn't report the accident straight away hence my insurer getting involved.
Also, I don't understand how you state my premium will increase as this was a non-fault accident and my insurer will be reclaiming the cost from the third party insurance?
And although I am responsible for both vehicles, the uninsured one will be off the road and kept on private property so I thought that meant it didn't have to be insured?
